Atlas Vegan Community School Uganda

We are thrilled to introduce Mike Musisi, the founder of Luv4all: Uganda Foundation (LFAU Foundation Ltd). Luv4all Uganda (loveforalluganda.org) is a vegan organisation dedicated to promoting effective altruism and fostering a culture of empathy, kindness, and understanding for all sentient beings. Their mission is carried out through education, advocacy, and community engagement, while developing a sustainable food system that aligns with their values by providing plant-based alternatives to animal products.

In 2022, they founded the Atlas Vegan Community School, Uganda’s very first vegan school. It serves 200 children, offering daycare for ages 2 and nursery and primary education for ages 3 to 12.

Our Growing Nature Academy (teachvine.org) initiative is currently exploring collaborative opportunities to help children at the school cultivate more organically grown food which does not rely on any animal inputs. The Atlas School will be a wonderful addition to the Vegan Organic Network Map (vonmap.uk).
